I have been online for about 4+ years and have been pretty "lucky" - if you believe in luck, that is. I once heard that a definition of luck was the intersection of opportunity and preparedness.
I have enjoyed success at some level or another in pretty much anything that I have tried, where I have believed in it enough to really work it.
You cannot expect to join a program, do nothing and get something in return. It is amazing how many people do believe, though, that the simple act of signing up should reap a reward. I know there are many programs that present themselves in that way, but the harder they push that "hook" the faster you should turn in the other direction.
There is NO free lunch - and if there appears to be, it is probably a scam.
The very first program I ever worked online was CDT. I built a large downline - well over 1000 - and at one time was one of the company's top leaders. I met someone online who was as fed up as I with CDT and who had been challenged by a family member to create a program to do all that CDT promised and failed to deliver. Clubfreedom was that program and many members of my CDT team followed me. Other CDT members who had previously wanted to join my team also joined. CDT has a no-crosslining policy, forbidding IDTs from belonging to more than one team. CF failed to implement this at the start even though I told them it was essential. By the time they realized the error of the omission, it was too late to stop the destruction of many teams, mine included. So though I did very well (with both programs), the lack of a crosslining policy in CF undermined my sizeable business and it ground to a halt.
It also demonstrated to me the lack of viability of the cycler type of program....they just cannot endure and no-one has yet come up with a solution. They just get too unweildly. I swore off them in any serious way, though I have played with one or two since, but usually with regret!
